Club 4 Us is a social group for children aged between eight and 13 years, who have a diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome.

What is Club 4 Us?

Club 4 Us is a social group for children aged between eight and 13 years, who have a diagnosis Asperger Syndrome.

The aim of Club 4 us is to support children with Asperger Syndrome to have fun time with their peers in a support group setting, while building on their independence and social skills.

Club 4 Us is staffed by a recreation coordinator, who has experience in supporting  children with Asperger Syndrome at primary school, as well in a social setting. Additional staff support is provided to ensure that the needs of the group are well met.

Who is eligible for Club 4 Us?

To be eligible to be part of Club 4 us children must:

  • Be aged between 8 and 13 years Live with a primary carers in the Geelong/Barwon South West Region.
  • Not be enrolled at Nelson Park School.

Where is Club 4 Us held?

Club 4 Us meets either at the Gateways office in Geelong West, or at the venue where the activity is being held that day.

How often does Club 4 Us meet?

Club 4 Us meets from 9am to noon on every second Saturday during school terms.

What is the cost?

Generally an activity fee of $10.00 per session is charged for Club 4 Us, however this fee may be higher as dependent on cost of specific activity. Participants and carers are informed of the fees for each activity prior to the commencement of the school term.
