Compassionate Employer Award for Gateways

GATEWAYS SUPPORT SERVICES has won a Compassionate Employer Award for supporting CEO Rosemary Malone who lost her husband after a two year battle with cancer.
The organisation provided practical initiatives to Rosemary, flexible working arrangements, leave during Bernie’s illness and ongoing support. The Compassionate Employer Program is auspiced by Compassionate Friends Victoria and awards organisations who have helped their employees cope with grief and loss. The Compassionate Employer Recognition Award was presented by TCF Patron Dr Rhonda Galbally, AO and Victoria’s Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Nick Wakeling MP at a special ceremony in Hawthorn.
Compassionate Friends Victoria has been helping Victorians for over 30 years and since the awards were launched, over 130 Victorian organisations have received recognition.
