Gateways Kinder Playmates Group Program is for children attending a 4 year old Kindergarten program.

The program is designed by Gateways psychologists and speech pathologists. It offers your child a small group situation where they can enhance their social and communication skills, including playing with other children, turn taking, sharing and problem solving.

The program is suitable for children who:

  • have a diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • have social/emotional learning difficulties
  • are currently attending a 4 year old kinder program

Where is Kinder Playmates group program held?

Playmates group program takes place during Term 2 and Term 3 on a Friday from 12.30pm until 2.30pm at the Greenville Children’s Centre, Greenville Drive in Grovedale.

Each term there are 10 sessions, with 2 parent sessions and 8 children’s sessions. A goals and outcomes report is provided for each session.
