If at any time you need services beyond what we are outlining below please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always willing to work with you to explore one-on-one supports that can ease the challenges you will be facing in your own lives.
Roadmaps out of COVID
The Victorian Government has set up a roadmap as we slowly ease out of COVID restrictions. This has given us some guidance as to how we can work towards a return to our normal service delivery – or at least the new COVID-normal.
With the roadmap being slightly different between metro and regional areas, and its impact varying depending on individual services and programs, we have created two roadmaps of our own to show you where we’re headed and what you can expect.
Tables relevant to your area are attached to this email and are also available as downloadable files from the COVID 19 – Current Services Update section of our website.
Please be aware that this is a guide only and restrictions are subject to change based on current government and public health advice. Please stay in touch with your service or program manager if you have any queries or concerns.
Please note these details are subject to change in line with government advice and mandates. Speak with your nearest Gateways Support Services office or contact person for latest information.
Parent support program
Our Geelong Healthy Mums Walking Group is back. The group meets at The Waterfront Carousel on Tuesdays at 9:30am. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
For western Melbourne families, face-to-face groups will resume in December, with small groups meeting at arranged venues with outdoor seating and in-line with strict health requirements. Commencing in February 2021, the Parent Support Groups will continue to have their monthly meet ups according to each group’s calendar. In the meantime, our online Wyndham Parent Support Group remains available. To join or find out more about our online and face-to-face groups, please contact email@example.com or maggie.Costa@gateways.com.au or call 9396 1111.
For all areas, we continue to provide information on the Gateways Parent Support private Facebook group. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to join the group. The page will have links to information and provide a forum to chat with other parents.
If you would like further information or do not use Facebook but would like to participate in the Zoom parent support groups, feel free to email email@example.com or telephone your local Gateways office. Individual parent support continues to be available via email, telephone or Zoom video meetings.
