Club 4 Us is a social group for children aged between 8 and 13 years, who have Asperger Syndrome.
The aim of Club 4 Us is to support children with Asperger Syndrome to have fun times with their peers in a supportive setting, whilst building independence and social skills.
Club 4 Us is staffed by a recreation leader, who has experience in supporting children with Asperger Syndrome at primary school, as well in a social settings. Additional staff support is provided to ensure that the needs of the group are well met.

Who is eligible for Club 4 Us?
To be eligible children must be aged between 8 and 13 years, be enrolled in a mainstream school and have a current NDIA plan with the following support items:
- Participate Community – group based community, social & recreational activities – Saturdays OR
- Have a Community Access Bundle
Where is Club 4 Us held?
Club 4 Us meets either at the Gateways office in Geelong West, or at the venue where the activity is being held that day.
How often does Club 4 Us meet?
Talk to our Recreation Coordinator to find out more about specific dates for each term.
What is the cost?
You will need to pay an activity fee for each session attended. This fee will be based on whatever the particular activity is for that day. If you have the following NDIA line item in your NDIA plan Gateways will claim the activity cost through NDIA:
- 23 023 Participate Community – Community, Social & Recreational Activity Costs
If you don’t have this NDIA line item in your NDIA plan you will need to pay the activity cost prior to the day.
