PLACE Strategy 2020-23

Gateways Support Services’ PLACE strategy reflects not just what we do, but who we are and why we are driven to achieve our next phase.
In shaping this path forward, we have remained true to the history that has seen Gateways lead the way in early intervention, supporting those with autism and providing a safe, quality and capacity-building focus for those with very complex needs.

While our mission remains to empower and support children and adults who have a disability and their families, our 2020-23 strategy is about finding and building more ways, more quickly to walk with our families on their journey.

The significance of the word PLACE as a central tenet to this strategy is that it is powerful in its simplicity. People of all abilities and all walks of life understand this word.

A place is a sure and dependable thing. It is where things happen. Places carry feeling and emotion that can extend beyond their geographic locations.

In choosing this word for our 2020-23 strategy, Gateways Support Services is expressing our commitment to building Positive Lives And Community Engagement.

In everything we do. In every place we are.
For every person we support.

Our strategy is about bringing our insight to offer the highest quality, wider choice and a more integrated and streamlined path to ensure our families can access the best possible outcomes from NDIS and other supports.
