Get Ready for a Great Day Out: Gateways’ Annual Charity Golf Day at Clifton Springs!

We’re excited to share that our much-loved Annual Charity Golf Day is back! Recently, our Events and Fundraising Manager, Fleur, spoke with BayFM’s Bay Spotlight program about this special event. Keep reading for all the details!
What’s Happening on the Day
This year, the Charity Golf Day will be held on Friday 23rd May at the beautiful Clifton Springs Golf Club. The day will feature an 18-hole Ambrose-style tournament, perfect for players of all skill levels. There will also be extra mini-competitions spread across the course, giving everyone even more chances to win some great prizes and have a bit of fun along the way.
Whether you’re a keen golfer or just enjoy a good day out, this event is designed to be enjoyable, welcoming, and a little bit competitive too!
Supporting a Great Cause
All the money raised from the day will go towards refurbishing our Community Services Day Program facilities. These improvements will help make our spaces even more accessible, welcoming, and supportive for people with disabilities. Your involvement on the day will make a real difference to the lives of many in our community.
Opportunities to Get Involved
There are a few ways you can take part in this special day:
- Sponsor the event: If you’re a business looking to give back to the community, we have a range of sponsorship opportunities available. It’s a great way to show your support, raise your profile, and be part of something positive.
- Enter a team: Gather some friends, workmates, or family members and register a team to play! It’s a brilliant opportunity for team building and networking, all while enjoying a day out on the course.
