Driving change: 22nd Annual Gateways’ Charity Golf Day

Zac F (1)

What a day to remember at our 22nd Annual Gateways’ Charity Golf Day at Clifton Springs Golf Club! With 84 players swinging into action, the course was buzzing with energy, laughter, and a shared goal; making our community more inclusive for people with disability.

Teams teed off in a friendly Ambrose-style tournament, navigating the fairways and taking a swing at extra challenges, including a competitive putting contest and an interactive putting clinic. Whether it was chipping in for fun or aiming for a birdie, every player helped make the day a par-fect success.

We were thrilled to be joined by former AFL stars Dyson Turner-Heppell and Daniel Wells, who brought plenty of star power and a few tips off the fairway. Their energy added that extra drive to the day, keeping everyone motivated and smiling.

Of course, a day like this isn’t just about the swing, it’s about the people. Thanks to the generosity of our players, sponsors, donors, and volunteers, we’re helping people with disability build skills, gain independence, and connect with their community. That’s a real hole in one for everyone involved!

A massive shoutout to Clifton Springs Golf Club for their incredible hospitality and support, you helped us make every shot count and every moment memorable. Thank you to the incredible support of our players, sponsors, donors and volunteers. Your generosity and commitment enable us to continue enhancing the lives of people with disability and additional needs, creating opportunities for greater independence, skill development and community connection.

From everyone at Gateways, thank you for helping us chip in for change and making the 22nd Annual Gateways’ Charity Golf Day a smashing success. We can’t wait to tee up again next year for the 23rd edition!!
