Gateways PMFA team have a reputation for being accessible and working closely with support coordinators, families and participants to solve issues quickly.
Our very first step is to ensure every invoice is NDIS compliant and within the scope of your current plan. We check for all the required details before forwarding the invoice to your support coordinator or nominee for approval. This helps us be sure that you are only charged for services you use. If you have missed or cancelled a service, we know and can make sure it is not charged inappropriately against your plan.
Gateways PMFA team is tuned in to changes in your service delivery. A series of cancellations might flag to us that your circumstances have changed. As part of your plan team, we will contact you or your support coordinator to understand these changes and work out how to adjust your plan if needed.
We investigate, we follow up and we make sure that your plan keeps working towards your goals.
Our team is professional and efficient, working hard to ensure provider invoices are paid promptly. Under our service standard we aim to have all approved invoices processed and paid within seven business days.
Knowledge of your unique plan means we make sure approved invoices are charged from the correct category, keeping funds available where you need them most. We also supply monthly statements highlighting allocated funds, invoices paid and balances remaining. Another way we help keep you in control of your plan.
You can also rest assured in knowing that Gateways Support Services has a deep and long-standing knowledge of the NDIS, having been an NDIS registered and quality-accredited service provider since the Geelong pilot program began in 2013.
Who can have a plan manager?
You can ask NDIS to add PMFA to your plan. This allows you to have full choice and control to use registered and unregistered providers to support the NDIS recipient. Your NDIS plan will state “CB Choice and Control”. This is the line item for Plan Management and pays your plan manager to pay your invoices via the NDIS portal.
What does it cost?
If Plan Management is included in your NDIS plan (under the Improved Life Choices bundle), there is no cost to you at all!
You just need to make sure you ask for Plan Management during your NDIS planning meeting so that appropriate funding is allocated in your plan.
