Charity Golf Day a success despite the weather

Stormy weather did nothing to dampen the generosity of players and donors at the 16th Annual Gateways Charity Golf Day.
Despite sirens calling players indoors early in the day, the event raised an incredible $17,866, exceeding last year’s tally.
Mother Nature let rip before teams moved far beyond the first tee but, after moving the event indoors Gateways’ indefatigable auxiliary kept energy and enthusiasm high, with raffles and auctions raising much-needed funds to reduce autism assessment waiting lists.
Thank you to all the teams, supporters and donors including Adroit Insurance & Risk, LBW Business + Wealth Advisors, Discount Drug Stores, YNA Your Nursing Agency, Maxwell Collins Real Estate, Curlewis Winery, Harwood Andrews, Geelong Insurance Brokers, Cockies Beer and Drysdale Clinic.
And, of course, hats off to our dedicated, hardworking and unflappable auxiliary who make it all possible.
