Autism Awareness Walk Geelong

Autism Walk (2)

The Autism Awareness Walk Geelong is back!

Gateways Support Services are excited to be bringing you the 2022 event, building on the work that’s been done to create to raise awareness, support and inclusion of those living with Autism.

The walk will be held on the 10th April from 10:00 – 10:45 at Eastern Gardens Geelong (Eastern Park BBQ area).

First started in 2011 by the Anic family to create autism awareness in the Geelong Community, the walk was an annual event but unfortunately has not been held since 2019 due to COVID-19. People with Autism often experience the world differently and this can lead to feelings of isolation and being excluded. Gateways Support Services thanks the Anic family for trusting us to continue with this initiative to continue raising awareness and support for those living with Autism.

By taking part and supporting our work with a donation, you will be supporting Autism Awareness, early intervention and diagnosis. We ask that all who wish to take part register prior to the event, helping us to maintain COVID safety protocols.

Registration is now closed.
