Recently, we shared a story about the journey of Johnny. A client of Gateways Therapy Services and his mother Catherine, who had found the task of shaving challenging due to sensory sensitivities.

Seeking support, Catherine and Johnny turned to Gateways, where they connected with Kym, an Occupational Therapist. Through personalised support and guidance, Johnny has been able to make significant progress towards self-reliance, being able to shave and finding a new confidence in his daily routines. Well done Johnny!

Meet our Easter Family Fun Day Ambassadors, Brooke

Meet our Easter Family Fun Day Ambassadors, Brooke and Stacey.

Brooke is part of our Social Connect day program based at our North Geelong office. Social Connect runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm. It provides individualised support for adults with a disability, including people with complex needs. It provides opportunities for those who attend the program to increase their independence and involvement in the community.

Brooke will be playing the very important role of judging our hourly Easter Bonnet Parade.

Stacey is a previous Gateways client and an accomplished athlete, having played netball for Australia in the 2017 Special Olympics in England.

You'll have the opportunity to shoot off against Stacey in our @kellysportsau activity zone.
