A Christmas Gift to Support Children with Disabilities
Gateways Christmas Gift Wrapping stand at Westfield, Geelong this year was another great success raising $7,500. Thank you to the Geelong community for getting behind the event and producing such a terrific result.
Thank you Westfield for your support, supplying all that beautiful wrapping paper and the opportunity to fund raise.
It is estimated that over 5000 presents were wrapped at the stand in the lead up to Christmas.
Funds go towards covering entry fees and travel costs of activities in Gateways Holiday Programs for children with disabilities, which are not covered by NDIS funding. This ensures that children and families are not disadvantaged by cost and everyone can participate.
Thank you to the more than 100 volunteers from the community, schools, business and organisations who donated their time to gift wrap and were wonderful ambassadors for Gateways, helping to raise awareness of our service in the community.
