Gateways run a number of small group community participation and recreation programs for adults living with a disability or additional need in the Geelong area. These programs are held during both the week and at weekends and provide a respite benefit for families and carers from their role caring for someone with a disability.

Gateways provides a range of group based programs to support adults who have a disability or additional need, living in Geelong or Barwon region.

Our services are focused on supporting the individual to learn new skills as well as maintaining existing skills, like self help and independence. We also encourage people to develop social skills by becoming more involved in the community.

Our experienced, qualified staff offer a ‘person centred’ approach to build on each individual’s strengths and interests.

Social Connect

Social Connect provides activities for adolescents and adults with complex needs. These activities are planned around each individual’s needs, strengths and interests.

The focus of this program is to improve the life of a person by broadening their communication, independence and community interaction.

This program is funded via Individual Education or Disability Support Packages. For more information please Contact Us or phone 5221 2984.
