Gateways Gardening – Supporting People with a Disability
Gateways Gardening is based in Geelong and is an initiative of Gateways Support Services and is designed to create employment experience for adults with a disability. The Gardening team are supported by qualified staff to deliver an affordable and professional gardening service.
Gateways Gardening is a skill development program designed to provide work experience and create the perfect pathway to employment for adults with a disability. The team are supported by qualified staff with a community based staff support ratio of 1:3.
Team members must be able to follow simple instructions and take pride in their work. This program would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, can work well as part of a small team and is looking to develop skills in this area.
