Changes to Gateways Plan Management services
As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support, we have made the decision to discontinue our Plan Management services effective 30 June 2025.
This change follows a review of our programs to ensure we remain focused on the services that align most closely with our mission of supporting people with a disability through direct, hands-on services that create meaningful impact everyday life.
What is Plan Management?
Plan Management is a financial administration service funded through the NDIS. Plan Managers help clients manage their NDIS budgets, pay invoices, and track spending, acting as a link between clients and service providers.
While Plan Management plays an important role in supporting clients to manage their funding, it is primarily administrative in nature. As a provider focused on direct service delivery, we have made the strategic decision to step away from Plan Management to concentrate on the supports we are best known for, such as Support Coordination, Individual Support, Programs and Activities, Supported Independent Living, and Positive Behaviour Support.
Support through the change
Since announcing our decision to discontinue Plan Management services, we have actively assisted each of our Plan Management clients in transitioning to new service providers. Our goal has been to ensure uninterrupted support for our clients throughout this transition and beyond. At all stages throughout the transition, we have encouraged clients to explore new provider options using the NDIS Find a Provider tool, to make the decision that is most suited to their needs. We have worked with, and will continue to work with, our clients’ selected provider to ensure a smooth transition of their Plan Management service.
Our focus moving forward
Gateways remain fully committed to delivering person-centred supports that make a difference, focusing on what we do best. We will continue to provide a range of direct services to support our community.
