Client spotlight: Meet Anthony – Gateways safety champion and event expert!  

If you’ve ever enjoyed a sizzling snag at one of our community BBQs or spotted someone ensuring everything’s running smoothly behind the scenes at an event, chances are you’ve seen our client Anthony in action. 

Anthony is one of our dedicated client Safety Officers in the Gateways Safety Squadron, and he’s been part of this team for over four years. Whether it’s workplace safety, risk assessments, keeping the first aid kits up to date or helping the team feel confident with occupational health and safety (OHS) processes, Anthony brings professionalism and care to every task he takes on. 

But Anthony’s impact goes well beyond his role. He’s one of those people who’s always happy to roll up his sleeves and lend a hand at all our Gateways events and fundraising activities.  

From helping our CEO Rohan with the BBQ at our International Day of People with Disability celebration to flipping eggs for the egg and bacon rolls at the 21st Annual Charity Golf Day and supporting the team with the Easter Family Fun Festival OHS processes, Anthony is someone who always brings energy, reliability, and a friendly smile to everything he does 

With more events coming up Anthony’s already looking forward to the next opportunity to volunteer and support Gateways’ mission to create inclusive, welcoming spaces for all.
